Claustrophobia

The cramped nature of our mega cities can create an unnerving atmosphere. At focal points, and times like rush hour, hundreds of strangers' paths will cross, the individual's voice being drowned in the masses. While not a fight for survival, the personal goal of reaching our destination - reaching home - could quite literally collide with other people's inclinations. With personal spaces invaded, and freedoms challenged, a distinct feeling of claustrophobia may touch our souls.
